Hampton Inn & Suites Rockingham

When we checked in, Evelyn was at the desk and greeted us professionally. We gave our reservations through an unnamed source and we made mistakes in making them. After working tirelessly with a couple of ding dongs, Evelyn, who would not give up, found and saved the day. We can't give enough stars to her. My husband Greg and I had the opportunity to stay at this property for a little over a week due to extenuating circumstances at our home. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, which immediately put us at ease. Tobi, the manager, was outstanding. I had the opportunity to observe her interactions with several guests, and she consistently demonstrated professionalism, kindness, and genuine care. During the snowstorm, she went above and beyond to ensure that all guests were safe and well accommodated. Megan and Mikala assisted us with check-in and made it clear that they were available to help with anything we might need. The following morning, Shine provided excellent support at the front desk, ensuring we were well taken care of in Tobi’s absence. Dontrice and Evelyn were also wonderful and attentive throughout our stay. Because of the exceptional service from everyone—from the front desk and housekeeping to the breakfast staff—we truly felt at home. On behalf of my husband and myself, thank you all for your dedication and outstanding hospitality. The reception desk was very polite friendly upon check in and check out. VERY CLEAN!! Rooms were great, bed super comfortable, and bathroom is larger than average. Breakfast was really good. Very good value. We did not use the pool but looked well maintained. Will definitely here again!

Wonderful Stay at Hampton Inn & Suites Rockingham! My family, my mom, and I stayed here from October 10–12, and from the moment we arrived, we truly felt welcomed. We were in town to honor and celebrate the life of my grandmother, and the kindness we received from the staff brought so much comfort during a difficult time. A special shout-out goes to Erica, an absolute gem throughout our stay! Both evenings, she greeted us warmly, always smiling, engaging in genuine conversation, and even ensuring we had hot cocoa. Her caring nature really stood out. When my mom and I realized we’d left a dress behind, Erica went above and beyond to help, shipping it back to us immediately but checking in to confirm delivery and provide updates. As a Silver Hilton Honors member, I can say this level of service means a lot. Erica embodies genuine hospitality; she’s delightful, thoughtful, and sincerely cares about guests. If you’re planning a visit to Rockingham, definitely stop by the Hampton Inn & Suites and be sure to say hi to Erica for me!

The staff here is the greatest team I have ever had experience with when reserving a hotel. The manager was beyond helpful when I had accidentally booked at the wrong location. God sent me right to the perfect team! You can truly tell they all take pride in their positions and really love their job! I am so grateful to all of the staff who made a crazy day turn around for my family. Thank you ladies for everything you do! Our room was spotless. Service top notch. The entire facility was clean and there was always someone available when needed. Thank you again!!

I would like to give the staff at Hampton Inn in our hometown of Rockingham,NC a huge shout out! I’m BIG on customer service and when it’s received I like to tell everyone! My family and I were coming to town for a funeral. From the first moment my husband called to make reservations he spoke with Journey, who did an awesome job with our reservation and some other accommodations for family coming in from NJ. Upon our arrival Journey was just a pleasant in person as on the phone. The morning of the funeral we encountered Ms. Evelyn! Wow, Ms. Evelyn! Can we start with her welcoming smile! Ms. Evelyn gets the award for above & beyond! She & her manager Jodi were very accommodating, and made our stay worth sharing. The weather was bad, it was an 11am service. We were provided a later check out so we could make the service and not have the added pressures and stress. The staff was so professional, courteous and understanding at such a difficult time. Thank Hampton Inn staff for making my families stay a great one at such a time! The Watkins Family!

First wanna give a good shout out to Evelyn at the front she was super courteous and always readily available to help. If she wasn't she was already assisting someone else she did a great job. Also the other staff did great breakfast was really delicious and always warm if they didnt have somethin they helped you find it or provided the service. Overall great place to stay. The rooms were not very sound resistant at all and I had to get my keycard changed a lot.

I stayed at the Hilton Rockingham for 7 weeks while working on a project, and my experience was nothing short of excellent. The hotel is brand new, with great amenities including a pool, and it’s in a perfect location—Walmart is right next door and there are plenty of restaurants, food options, and laundromats within a 5-minute drive. But what truly made my stay memorable were the people. The front desk team—Gernie, Erica, Hailey, and Evlyn—were consistently warm, welcoming, and professional. Gernie is also a great artist—I even attached one of her works! Asya and the other ladies who prepared breakfast each morning always started my day with a smile and wonderful service. And the housekeeping team made sure I always returned to a clean room with fresh linen; they were cheerful, tireless, and genuinely committed to making guests comfortable. To everyone at Hilton Rockingham, a big thank you. You made my long stay feel like home, and I truly hope our paths cross again.
